Alarm system question

Hey all. I know I have heard this talked about at one point or another, but when the top is down I know the motion sensors for the alarm are inactive. Where can I get the clip that can be installed to fool the car to thinking the top is up?

I just installed the Alpine IVA-D901 stereo head unit

I can really use some help finding this clip. Too nice a radio not to have those motion sensors active while the top is down and the alarm is active.
Help is appreciated, thanks!

How do you know if your car has an alarm?

Just re-read this post...this might be a firestorm of the obvious on its way.

Maybe the better question is, do all the alarms have motion sensors, what is the generally deal on the Porsche alarms.

I guess I could go downstairs and roll down my window and start shaking my arm all about the cabin.

I Think It's a program matter. Indeed my motion detectot is on even with top down.

On the oter hand it doesn't seem very sensitive, I have to move my arm a lot ( with top down and up) to activate the alarm.
