30K service with GAHH glass top

Had 30K service today with spark plug change. No complaints from dealer about reduced access to engine compartment with GAHH glass top. No additional charges.

That would be because they don't need to access the top of the engine for those items.

Oh..excuse my ignorance then...

TriGem2k 04-30-2007 05:03 PM

Sure they would....How else do you get to the air filter?

docdyh 04-30-2007 05:06 PM

It does appear that the rear speaker enclosure was removed..that is all that I know..

My mistake.

They should have checked the power steering fluid too.

How much did the GAHH top with glass cost?

Did you get it with the defroster and does it fit like the original even when down?

docdyh 05-01-2007 06:40 PM

I got mine last year when prices where higher. Paid $850, with defroster, and perfect fit.

icedude 05-01-2007 07:33 PM

that's not a bad price

Where did you get it from and are the prices lower now? Who installed it? Thanks for the info

I bought directly from GAHH in California. If you look on ebay, there are some for less, not sure who makes it though. Just look for a local installer who has installed these on Boxsters before. If you call GAHH, they will refer you to a local installer as well. Installation was about $600.
