Strange clicking and ticking noise
 

I brought my 06 out of winter storage last week. The weather has been at best in the high 30's F. When driving over anything slightly bumpy I hear clicking and ticking noises from the right and left where the roof meets the top of the windows. Is there something available to spray on the plastic and/or metal roof parts? Maybe they are rubbing against each other causing the noise?

I've got this on the left side of mine as well. For the life of me I can't figure it out. It's much worse after the winter. Next trip to the dealer I hope they can fix it. I've tried pure silicone spray and just about everthing I can think of with no luck. Last year I had it on the left side and the dealer fixed it by lubricating something. Hopefully it will do the trick on the left side. With the cold something seems to contract just enough to not completely seat itself.

The fix lasted about two days and now it's back. I asked the dealer what they did and they said it was not something you could do yourself as you would probably overspray and grease up the windows. I posted this hoping someone else has a simple fix instead of going back to the dealer. The dealer didn't charge but it's a pain taking it in for this.
