Wheels and Caps (EBay)

EBay Link

Has anyone purchased wheels from this seller? They sell the same replicas as wheeldynamics.com, just $200 cheaper.

I've seen their auctions....they're just a reseller for many of the largely Italian made Porsche knock offs. From my understanding, good quality wheels, but a bit heavy. Can't offer any input on the buying experience or service.

Many members, including myself, have ordered wheels from Wheel Dynamics and have verified that it is a very good experience. They know what they are talking about on sizing etc..., they provide great service and quick shipping. Also, they generally will do something for you, like throw in free spacers or free shipping etc...

I think it is worth the extra money to have the piece of mind that you are dealing with a good merchant.

I have purchase Acura wheels for my son's Honda Civic and was very impressed with the service, prompt shipping (3 days) and quality of product. No experience on Porsche parts however.

Ask;

-what type of warranty they come with

-how much they weight

-what type of centercaps come with the wheels

I have Wheel Dynamics Carrera Lightweights and like them. You might want to give Carlos from Wheel Dynamics and see if he would be willing to drop the price some. I looked at their site and I think prices went up a little from what I remember.

Thanks for the information guys.

The wheels weight 27lbs and 29lbs.

Damn, thats alot heavier than the OEM version (20/21).

Eric I'm not sure what shipping co. WheelDynamic's uses, but on the wheels and caps link you have they use UPS which tends to rape Canadians with huge "UPS brokerage fees". I don't know anyone who has received from UPS that has been happy at the result.
