03 vs 04 model year boxster s

Hi

Am looking at getting a late 986 boxster s and just wondered if anyone knows of any mechanical changes between the 2003 and 2004 model years?

in the UK the 04 cars have longer service intervals (two yrs rather than one yr) - assume this is the same in the US - but am not sure if this reflects any real changes or whether porsche just decided that their previous service intervals were conservative.

Additionally, would you be any less inclined to renew a porsche warranty on an 04 car vs an 03?

Any thoughts much appreciated

03 and 04 are identical.

No noticeable difference between the 2003 and 2004 :
