Removing and reinstalling exhaust

Finally going to get around to installing the 03 S Exhaust on my 01S
Any new parts I should buy before I do thet job to make life easy on the reinstall?

Thanks!

Just curious why you are doing this?

1) I like the tips on the 03 better
2) The 03+ has a slightly nicer sound
3) I got the exhaust cheap :)
4) Why not?

You'll want to take your rear bumper cover off to make the installation much, much easier. When I put my "S" muffler on, I did it with the rear bumper cover on and it was a real pain. You almost need to be a contortion artist to get to every bolt. With the bumper cover off, the swap should go smooth.

It's actually a piece of cake with the bumper on. There are only two nuts that you need to remove on the flexy piece atop the muffler, and even with my large hands I have no problems getting up there to remove them.

It wasn't. I didn't think there was much difference between exhaust to warrant the trouble. Guessed wrong.
