I had the same problem and the car did not throw any codes when doing so. I have a good service rep. who diagnosed it down to a charcoal evaporative control canister. Apparently, when filling up the car with gas, if you overfill it, gas enters this canister and saturates it. The vehicle is no longer able to purge vapors through that canister and it stalls. If you have heard of this or experienced any of this feel free to comment. I do not know of the part he is talking about nor where exactly it is located but they were willing to replace it for me for $500. I declined and will actually drive it in hopes the canister dries out. I would like to know if and how I could replace it myself if you have info. Thanks
