Seat wear ...
I now have 4500 miles on my 2001 Boxster and it still looks pretty new. However, I am concerened that the leather seats will get that worn glossy look like I have in my Windstar. I thought about laying a towel on the seat but that would still rub and eventually put a sheen on the leather. :ah: Any suggestions other than pulling the seat out ?

Leather wear
My '99 will hit 41,000 miles soon and my seating surfaces still look pretty good IMO. I have heard about a leather care product called Lexol, maybe you want to try that.
But, hey the seats are going to show some wear over time regardless of what you do, I figure this is just normal. I am not too worried about it. http://www.autosupermart.com/shop/lex01015.html |
Lexol
I have used Lexol products for about 8 years -- AWSOME. Even works well for the home leather furnature. I buy in the economical 3 liter size.
