987 removing dead pedal

Hello all,

Trying to install the aluminum sport dead pedal and can't seem to get the old rubber one off. I think i'm making brain surgery out of this. Ha. Any help?

Yen

I think you just mount the new pedal over the top.

Just grab the top and pull it off.

It will not slide up though it looks like it should so grap near the top and pull away from the firewall. It will slide off.
ATB,
