Hi,

That's a bunch of Bull!

The GM of the Dealership would literally had to have been "Out to Lunch" for days for this to have happened.

If it were me, I'd refuse to give a Free Porsche and let the Buyers take me to court - and I'd win!

Urban Myth in the making...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

Wow, that is a funny story. Apparently that guy has never heard of "profit margins." It seems so ludicrous I doubt if it's actually true.

I heard about this yeterday from a friend of mine. Hard to believe, but if it is, in fact, true, all I have to say is that is one dumb marketing guy.....

I dont think any GM would let this happen.

Hi,

"I heard from one of my friends, who heard from one of his friends, who heard from a cousin of the guy..."

It's a Lark. No Dealership does any advertising or any Campaign without it being signed off by a number of people, including the GM of the Dealership. No one guy can make that kind of promotion, it's done by committee.

Does your friend have a line on that fabled Corvette which went for $50 after they found it with a dead guy in it because they can't eradicate the smell too...???

There are no new Porsche Dealerships in Cali. either - notice how they don't mention the name or the city? Hmmm...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
