Thumbs up Awesome day

Didn't go to work today, took my son to his 10am Ortho appt, he got done in 20 mins, went to lunch with him and dropped him back to school...now i got 3.5 hours to kill...here's the best part

catch the 12:45pm showing of 300 in Century 22, stadium seating, big arse wide screen, large cherry coke, med. popcorn, bag of gummy bears and there's only 12 people watching...gosh, it feels so good! i forgot that i have a mortgage payment

I suggest to all of you that you guys should do it once in a while to get out of the hectic schedule..i feel rejuvinated..hahahahahahaha!

That is all

Unkle, what is that movie about?

Why didn't you go for a 3.5 hour drive? Go to the movies on a rain day!!

dude, I was going for a 3.5 hour drive but it was showering here that was my first choice of relaxing...

The movie is pretty cool, the way they mix live actor and graphics and the story is about how Persians wants to take over Spartans but the king wont bow down till the end!

I went to see 300 at the IMAX, the theatre is awesome and the special effects are good, but I wouldn't recommend the movie. First it sets a whole new level of violence, they just pile up the bodies. Also, it just gets weird with crazy creatures etc.... Maybe if you are really into that it would be OK, but I found it really odd.

Just my two cents.

Wish I had thought up those crazy creatures. The movie made 127.5 million this weekend.

I won't see it though...not my kind of flick. No cars.

Hey, you had lunch with your son.

That is the best day on record, IMHO!

having a one on one lunch with your kids during the middle of the week are pretty awesome experience

and spending 3.5 hours w/ no kids is an awesome day! What i meant was, for 3 hours, i have no other responsibility except to watch and enjoy the movie

dude, you are going to see a lot of those in that movie If you have IMAX near your area, watch it there...

I might watch it again in IMAX..it's a 45 mins drive but I think it will be worth it
