Chicago Oil Change

For those of you in the Chicagoland area that are too lazy to do your own oil changes ( myself included ), I just made an appt for Saturday to get mine done at Motorwerks in Barrington - $125 ( bmuss, looks like the price went up ).

Hope to see you all this weekend...

Nick

Nick, tell Brian there that the price should be less, and see what he says.

Thought you guys would be interested in seeing the breakdown :

$69.98 labor
$42.75 oil
$10.72 filter
$ 1.36 hazardous waste charge
$ .19 seal ring
-----------------
$125.00 total

$70 for labor ! Looks like I will be doing the next oil change myself...

I wish you guys lived closer. You could throw them up on my lift and change the oil yourselves for the price of the parts.

Send a message via AIM to djomlas
i do my own, i just cant justify the labor charge, more for labor than oil.
i rather do 2 oil changes for same money than one.
