Dash Guages not Working
 

I just started my cars after 5 months (2003 Boxster S). The dash guages are not working. No RPM, Fuel Level, Temp. or dash lights. Suggestions? Before storage I added the rear speaker kit and air horns behind the front bumper (wired to factory plug in front trunk). Everything else seems to be working fine, it started right up with no issues I just hope I don't have to take it in before I can even really drive it.

Try turning the ignition key back some..... the ignition switch could be at fault.

Check your fuses.

RandallNeighbour, THANK YOU! I reset all the fuses and everything is back to normal. I don't know which one it was but it works.
wvicary ignition had no play so then I went to the fuses, Thanks for the suggestion.

Glad you got it sorted but what do you mean you reset the fuses?? Did you find one that was blowen.

I took every fuse out then put it back in, I didn't find a single blown fuse. I can only think one must have come loose when I was cleaning the car for the winter.

Could have been that pulling a fuse caused something to reset?

Anyway, glad to hear it was a simple fix. I work on servers and sometimes, pulling things out and putting them back in fixes things!

The contact probably got a little corroded and pulling, reinserting it rubbed it off enough for an electrical contact to be made...
