Auto-X at Richmon International Raceway

I thought some of you might be interested in this.
On March 31 the Shenandoah Region PCA is hosting an autocross at Richmond International Raceway (yeah, the NASCAR track!). Last year's event was a blast. The event is limited to 60 entrants and you must pre-register. It's a bit pricey at $110 for PCA, $150 for non-PCA, but it's no ordinary parking lot auto-X. There will be two courses setup. The main timed course is on the big oval, and there will be an open practice course on the infield lot.
check out http://shn.pca.org/ if you are interested.
Cheers
Jeffrey

Yeah

Thinking about doing this, but they have a pre-requisite, so I'm doing the Auto-X on the 25th of this month in MD. I'll probably do this event that you're referring too as well.

:D

Sounds like fun. Are they doing a similar event later this year? For me, that weekend is an autocross in Frederick MD on Saturday and then the Potomac PCA AX school on Sunday, and then the Chesapeake PCA event the next sunday.. mmm AX season is finally here. If only I had my car set up the way I wanted it ;)

As far as I know, March is the only time we'll get the Richmond track. Everything else is either the standard Augusta Gov't center parking lot or, I believe, Southside speedway, for the Richmond Porsche Meet.
