WTB Black or Guards Red Hardtop
 

I just recently purchased a 2002 Boxster S. I am looking for a hardtop for those wet Oregon Winters. Anybody have a line on a decent HT? Thanks.

I have been looking for a black top since the first of the year. You can get one from the dealer, I have been quoted $2700 to $3100.

I have bid on four on Ebay, those have gone from $1726 to $2225. I have not seen a rd one on there.

It's been hard to be patient, I really want one.

Evilmorg, look at the February 2007 issue of the Chicago Scene (our PCA monthly). In the add section, there is a listing for a Guards Red HT. Good luck!

I once saw one at a local lot (it was actually on another Boxster but they were pretty negotiable about it). I got them down to maybe $1200, until I realized the lip around the bottom was torn up like crazy. Watch out and make sure you get pics of that lip if you care that yer hard top hasn't been dragged on the asphalt once or twice!
