WTB: FVD Brombacher Sound Version Muffler for 2000 986S

I know this is probably a long shot, but in the market for a used FVD Brombacher Sound Version Muffler for my 2000 986S. They seem hard to find. Thanks all in advance!

They may be hard to find used but FVD still sells them new. They are well built. Consider me biased but I am a happy customer.

I did see them listed new on the FVD website, but it looks like tariffs have caused them to more than double in price. Do you mind if I ask what you paid for yours and when as a grounding point for me?

Oh wow, I got mine back in 2021 for roughly $1100 USD (not adjusted for inflation etc.)

They're not worth $5K. They're worth $1100. Maybe $1500 if you have it reversed engineeered.

I’ve seen PSE exhausts for roughly $1100 on eBay. That’s the way I’d go with these prices

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the FVD against the PSE, or the Fister for that matter? Those seem to be the big three options.

I don't need anything crazy loud, but would love a deeper note, especially at idle and lower rpms (already sounds pretty great stock under load)

I paid full price for the FVD "Sound Version" muffler back in 2020, and honestly, I should have just saved my money. Not that it's a bad piece, but I had previously done the simple 1/2" drill-out mod to my Boxster S muffler (going through the tailpipes diagonally on each side), and the sound really isn't all that different. YMMV.
