OK. I'll play...

Is that a picture of the top on that beautiful white car? Should we understand that you're going to remove that top? WHAT IS YOUR ASKING PRICE, NOT INCLUDING, IF APPLICABLE, SHIPPING?

You drive that white car... but only have 4 posts? Please, share why I/we should belive you. In effect, prove you're not a liar and cheat. Yeah, I'm taking that route.

If you're a sensible person, and havee read of the slew of motherfuccking scaammers upon these pages, you'll understand why I/we might believe you're full of ****************.

Lets play. I'm waiting. if I owe you an aplogy, I'll concede.

Next...

He said on another thread that he has it listed on craigslist, not that it makes him trustworthy but at least there are more pictures.

Wow, I did not know my post was that offensive. Not sure what exactly you are looking for to make this more trustworthy. I never sold anything online.
Like outkasted said I have it listed on craigslist for $3500. Shipping is a pain so I was hoping for someone in the Chicago area.

Hermes — Starter986 is certainly crusty, but the forum has been absolutely inundated with spammers and bots lately. There are no moderators here and the software is not secure, so they become members with ease. I, unfortunately, also look at any new member with suspicion.

Not trying to ruin your day but here's a new/used one on FB Marketplace for $2800 right now, thats been for sale for months. You need to be realistic, they're only $2800 new.

Crusty? I'll wear that moniker. I'll admit I'm gettting old-er, and have less patience with propective scammers.

You described the situation perfectly, and with far more diplomacy than I.

To the OP... I'll grant you a pass. However, keep in mind that 4 posts in one year... and with that nice white car... arouses suspicion.

I’m a bonafide curmudgeon myself.

If he used more than one picture it might inspire a little more confidence that it isn't a scam. Scams are usually price at "too good to be true" though.
