Durametric cable for sale with 1 VIN left. Used on 2000 2.7l Boxsters.

If the license has not already been reset, the kind people at Durametric will reset it to zero for a new owner. I think they will will only do this once per license key though.

The enthusiast license version only allows you to use it on 2 or 3 different VINs. If you buy one used, and the 3 VINs are used up, you can contact Durametric to have them reset the license back to 0, but I believe they will only do this once per license key. This is the actual response I got from them:

Thank you for contacting Durametric. The Enthusiast cables VINs can be cleared by us. The first time the VINs are cleared there is no charge to do so. To determine whether we can clear the VINs of that Enthusiast cable free of charge, connect the cable to the computer (no car necessary), open Durametric, and send to us a picture of the Tools --> Tool Information screen. We can provide more details upon receipt of the picture.
