WTB- Air bag deactivation bar

Looking to buy an air bag deactivation bar for my boxster. Not sure if the MY makes a difference or not but mine is a 99

You can make your own for about $10 if you can persuade the dealer to activate it or find someone with a PST2.

If you want to use a child seat the air bag must be disabled. This is done using a $150 bar that bolts to the seat, the bar has a buckle and a wire on it, the Porsche car seats have a matching buckle. Once the buckle is inserted the airbag is deactivated, this is indicated by a certain light sequence on the dash.

There isn't a lot to the deactivation buckle though, it's basically a few resistors, I made one with four resistors and a switch as an experiment and it works fine.

It took me a long time, but I just realized that UKChris is actually MacGyver.
