1. Sony MEX-N5000BT stereo. Best setup I found for the Boxster without breaking the bank. Has four regular speaker outputs plus a subwoofer output that's perfect for the door & dash speakers plus the Cayman subwoofer without adding amps, crossovers, etc. Bluetooth, satellite, the usual gadgets. Orange illumination is a very close match to the AC controls. Comes with manual and removal keys.
$90 shipped

2. (SOLD) OEM 987 Cayman subwoofer w/ amp. Fits almost perfectly in the passenger footwell of your 986 or 996 while barely taking up any space. Has an integrated amp that's surprisingly easy to connect (unlike most proprietary OEM stuff). I'm including the subwoofer cables already modified. Just connect to the subwoofer pre-amp output of your stereo and done. The three other wires are the basic 12V power, ground, and remote turn-on. With the above stereo you can control the subwoofer level and cutoff frequency. Way better than your stock system and almost invisible, unlike most aftermarket amps and boxes in a 986. Comes with the top trim piece that's missing (or sold separately) from all the Ebay ones.

Dual 2" gauge panel. I had this made for the top dash opening (since it's slightly larger than a regular DIN) by a PC custom panel builder. Mounts to the factory holes for the AC control or cupholders. Very nice CNC piece, unlike crappy Ebay thin panels that have no way to mount them, are flimsy, and many times have uneven edges. Has "Boxster 3.4" engraved on the front. Fool and impress your friends with your imaginary bigger engine, or just flip over if you'd rather be an honest dude.

GT3 center console UNdelete. Yeah, I know the demand for this is almost nothing but I hate throwing away Porsche parts. This "kit" has everything you need to uninstall your GT3 center console and put back the 986/996 factory one. It has one pocket and the trim for the AC controls (or you can buy the second pocket on Ebay). All nuts and screws are also included.
SOLD

Wanted to add that if you’d like to retain the factory amps you can buy an inexpensive Porsche specific harness from Crutchfield. The harness will connect to the stereo’s pair of preamp outputs and the Cayman subwoofer will still connect to the sub output as shown in the photos/description.
