Last Call before the Scrap Yard

I have a 2001 Tiptronic base model that has already been picked clean of the usual parts. It's going to the scrap yard soon. If you want any easy to ship parts, wiring & connectors, screws & bolts let me know.

Shipping to US addresses only.

PM received. It's in good condition with no sign of damage. I'll message back details after I remove it and figure out shipping. Probably going with FedEx and total price will be shipping cost rounded up to the nearest $5.

JayG's is shipped. Rob's is just about ready to send. I'm pulling the front brakes for RedTele58 and that's about all the brake parts that are left unless you want the reservoir and booster.

I'm still pulling off stuff that is easy to remove and keep in a box. The car will be gone Monday afternoon.

I recommend grabbing the uprights and rear subframes before you scrap it. SPB guys go through those like crazy. I sold them for $50 each back in the day.

Convertible top frame molding

Do you still have the plastic/rubber moldings (see Pic) that covers the edge of the convertible top frame? If so, how much for both sides? They are probably 18" total on either side.

Base rear hubs? I need to machine them for 3.2 shafts. If you are taking them off I'd like a price.

It looks like you want the rubber seal and the plastic trim that screws on to clamp it in place (#9 in the diagram below):

That's fairly easy and I'll ship both sides for $20 total.

In the mean time, I looked up the portion of the frame that it screws into, #8 in the diagram, "98656193500" which the parts manual calls the B Pillar. That's almost $1,000 per side: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-porsche-parts/folding-top-pillar/98656193500a09/

I can beat that price *significantly*, but it's not an easy part to remove.

We already tried this with S model hubs once right? If I can ship to the same US address, let me know. Looking at the old messages, I charged $100 for the S hubs. I should be able to ship these for $75 unless shipping has gone up significantly. Also, I need to get a good look at them to verify the condition.

I don't have a tractor or lift so I rolled it up on it's side with a winch and pulled the uprights along with the whole rear suspension. It's awkward, but during a short break in the rain, it was quick and easy.

The car is gone now, but I still have plenty of small parts on hand if you need anything.

Feedback, I found that I have three pairs of rear hubs. Work has kept me busy this week, but I plan to have a good set ready to ship on Monday. I'll send pics before I pack them.

I'm planning to ship them tomorrow, but I'm also spending the whole day with my 11 year old grandson, so it may take until Wednesday. Here's what you're getting, with a bit more of the grime brushed off before they get packed:

Brake cables will probably be good to re-use.
