Hood and trunk release needed
 

I have 1998 Boxster base. I need the Release lever for the Hood and Trunk. The tip of the hood release broke off and I would like to replace it before it cuts the tip of my finger off trying to open the hood. I can't find the actual name for this part so I haven't been able to find a new one. So if someone knows the name for this part or the oem number it would be most appreciated.

Seriously. I find Pelican's site particularly NOT useful when searching for items. Oftentimes I'll just throw out the name of what I believe to be the name of the pat followed by "Pelican Parts". That usually weeds out the other 12,376,396 disassociated parts.

You might try a few guys on this board for that part... or check Craigslist. Bet you could find it cheap and quick.
