1989 986 seat switch
I've looked everywhere trying to find the drivers side two way seat switch. OEM # 996.613.713.00. The OEM price is absolutely ridicules over four hundred dollars for a plastic plate and a few wires. Please no comments from the peanut gallery about charging for kicking the the machine! :).
Any help would be appreciated. |
I just pulled some rotting seats out of an '04 and stripped them down. Want a used switch? $40? I can get a good pic of the switch later today.

I don't see the plate to the left side of the seat and I cant be sure its compatible for the 1989 year.

P.S. the bottom pic is the correct one if yours is the same that would be great.

Here's what I have for the driver's (left) side. If you want the connector that those two pins push into, I can send one of those too.

FHW, this is a great offer! I recently, happily, paid $60 for an 8-way seat switch. All I needed was a couple of the switch components but it was worth it to put my switch back together.

This all sounds good. How do I go forward with the purchase?

Edit: And the lever on the other side of the switch is included, just not visible in this picture. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...679a76dc_c.jpg |
