Is it triple black? Basalt? Are they new or used?

Where are you/they located?

Chris.

This is strange. The "Poster" (Redducati750) does not list a location in his/her profile and "states" (in signature) that they have a 3.4 Boxster. So.....he/she has a 2007 Boxster S??????????????

From the poster's other posts, he has a 97 with a 3.4 conversion.

$350 for painting seems kinda cheap. I was quoted between $600 and $800 from reputable shops to get a top re-painted. I just paid $1700 for a hardtop for my car, but I also got it the same color with no re-paint. I figured it was worth a little more $$$ to get one that matched already.

doesnt help that he's been a member for 4 years and only posted 8 times.

so are these tops for a 986?

bmussatti 11-05-2006 06:47 AM

If I am wrong about being suspicious...I am very sorry to Mr. Ducati. Just looking out for fellow Forum members!

I had a 97 boxster with a 3.4 conversion, I ended up parting out the car....long story. Now to the tops...

The top off my car is Ocean Metalic Blue and is near perfect.

The black top had some scratches from storage, if it were going on my car I would repaint it. The reason my paint guy is cheaper is hes working off the clock, when you cut the shop of out it saves some $$$. I have shipped these before, forward air is best and I will build a crate. -Geoff

Pictures! We need pictures!

redducati750 11-05-2006 07:08 PM

Here is one with the top on the car. I have other shots that are too large, email me for pics.

mnavarro 11-10-2006 11:39 PM

how about a little cheaper for the black one?

silversharkgt 11-11-2006 03:12 PM

Location? Also, what would shipping price to VA be? Seems like it could be a lot. Can you post up the pics of the blue one?

redducati750 11-11-2006 04:24 PM

Im in Chapel Hill, NC. If your in VA Id much prefer not to have to crate it but have before and will for a buyer that is not close.

redducati750 11-11-2006 04:25 PM

Im pretty firm on pricing. -Geoff
