17" track/AX wheels for sale- 2 sets

2 sets of track wheels. Both 17"
Get extra wheels for the 2021 TT/DE season

Each Set $400 or $700 for both sets

1 set Boxster S 7x17 ET 55 / 8.5x17 ET 48
1 set Racing Dynamics 8x17 ET 50 / 9x17 ET 48

Both sets have tires, but the tires are pretty much done. I can have the tires removed for for $12.50 per wheel

Boxster S wheels plasidipped black (partially peeled off some wheels, I can respray if desired)
Prefer pickup in San Diego area. Can meet in south Orange or Riverside county. Can ship at buyers expense

Theses are great track/AX wheels, no bends, minor curb rash.

Might be interested in the set with the Nittos if you would be willing to ship. I’ll send you a PM. I am curious though. Did you ever get a chance to do a direct comparison in lap times between these two different sets of tires?

The Nittos are just about corded and the Re-71s still have a little left in them, but pretty much heat cycled out

No, I didn't see a time difference between the sizes. When comparing different sizes and tires, look at the actual tread width. Some 245's are as wide as other 255's for example

I have no problem shipping, just don't know the cost. From what I hear, the least expensive way is by greyhound or Trailways

Wheels

I'd be interested in the Racing Dynamic Wheels. I'm in Rialto. Would be willing to meet in Riverside if we make a deal.

Sure, how about something south of the 60, maybe around March ARB?

Okay thanks for getting back to me. The car actually in the shop until Saturday or Monday. Depending on the final bill I'd like to get the wheels next week.

I'm still interested but my $400 repair turned into a $1300 repair. If you still have them at the end of the month, I'm in.

Got the PM

I really don't want to split the set front & rear

Maybe someone wants just the fronts and you get the rears?
