Convertible Top Relay.....
 

I`m looking for a used convertible top relay that works on a 2001 Boxster to modify so it works as smart top relay. If you have one sitting around that you don`t need and want to sell let me know the price, thank you.

Thanks, I`ve seen a few on ebay for $70.00-$80.00. If I can get one cheaper from a member on here why not ;)? I`ve seen some sold before for less than that. I`m not in a hurry, if I don`t get one on here, when spring comes I`ll just get one on ebay. I`m probably going to screw it up doing the modification, that`s why I`m trying not to pay a lot for it and then I have to put it in the garbage.

Where abouts is it, I have the wiring pulled from my car and its on the floor. its not going back in.

Yes I was, and it works great. I just did the same as in this video, it`s a very easy mod. Good luck.

Thanks, I had already done the pin 18 bend, but still need to pull the park brake 1 notch, I may try the brake bypass as well

You`re welcome. For the brake bypass you have to fold the 15 pin also and then solder a wire from the 15 to the 22 pin and then you don`t have to pull the emergency brake at all, it work just like the smart top relay.
