WTB: 986 Stereo & Console Bits from Upcoming Project
 

Hey folks,

I'm planning on carrying out a stereo system overhaul in my 2003 986 S, and I would like to source the following parts in preparation:

1) A pair of 986/996 dash speaker assemblies. The speakers can be totally blown, but I do want them present so I can hack them up and make speaker adaptor rings. (P/N 996-645-048-02-01C)

2) One upper storage bin for the center console. (P/N 996-552-253-01-01C)

3) The bracket used for mounting a CD-changer in the trunk of a C2 996 or 986. (P/N 996-645-221-00)

4) One "GT3" lower console delete kit in black carpet (P/N 986-552-113-02-A10)

5) Spare front trunk liner carpet. I don't need the full thing just some scraps to make my amplifier placement blend into my existing trunk liner. (P/N 996-551-045-01-C10)

I can source this all new or through eBay, but I'd rather keep my money within the immediate 986 enthusiast community where possible. Reply here or PM with your offers.

This is all for a good cause, as I plan to thoroughly document and write-up this stereo overhaul to then post here to 986forum in the DIY section.
