WTB: 18" Boxster Carrera Lightweight wheels

Looking for the 18x7.5 and 18x9 lightweight Carrera wheels for the Boxster. If any of you happen to be looking to sell, or have spares, let me know. I'd prefer them to be in good shape.
Thanks!

Best of luck, i started the same WTB thread 2 months ago and not one response yet! I keep searching CL and the forums, almost all the sets that come up for sale are 911 fitment. Boxster ones are hard to come by!

I found a few wheels here and there, but none of them seem to be in good shape at all.

No that many sets of these wheels were made due to their price more than anything else. They are hard to find, much less in good shape.

When I bent one of my front ones beyond repair I found one on eBay that needed refinishing, some scrape repairs and a modest amount of straightening. It came out so nice I had my other 3 wheels checked, trued and refinished. For now I have a perfect set of wheels! In the PCA classifieds there is a 2003 Boxster for sale with these wheels for $9,000.

				I got lucky...

...I found a nice set on eBay last year.
FWIW, I on a 2004 550 SE and she came with Seal Gray Carrera Lights.

I like the silver wheels better.

So, I have the SE wheels in my garage, they are in fantastic condition, but I doubt I will ever sell them.

 Keep an eye on eBay.

Out of curiosity... what WOULD you sell those wheels for?

				Well.....

			...if you have to ask....
 Just kidding.

I don’t know. A set of the standard silver ones seems to be trading around the $1,500 mark these days, and are becoming harder and harder to find.

Since I DO own a 550 SE and these were made for THIS car, I would hate to part with them and break up the Special Edition provenance.

I replaced the muffler with an FVD Brombacher “Sound Version” and the secondary cats with some delete pipes, and all of those OEM parts are shrink wrapped and sitting in my garage for posterity.

I like the idea of having a second set of wheels with tires mounted on them in case I get a flat.

 I just don’t know.

It’s funny, before I bought these silver Carrera Lights, I actually bought another front and another rear SE wheel from one that got wrecked.

So I have thread front and three rear SE Seal Gray Carrera Light wheels just sitting here.

I guess if someone offered me $5,000 I’d take it.

 But I just don’t know.

 Hmmm........

I have a set I'm selling for $750. I have a buyer out of Kentucky who has dibs on them for now though. I'm guessing that's you, but that's a big coincidence if not.

				Jefferson....

..If that IS you, just buy Woody's set.
I will vouch for Woody, along with anyone else who ever met the man.

If he says his wheels are solid, you can take that to the bank.

For $750, it's a steal.

Woody is THE MAN!

Yeah Woody, we’ve been talking via text about the wheels and steering wheel. Definitely buying your set. PayPal ready!

No I get it, I wouldn’t dare sell those wheels considering they were made for that car. But hey, had to ask |

I've got two spare Carrera lightweight wheels that I am selling. I have one front wheel and one rear. PM me if anyone is interested. I don't mind shipping as long as buyer pays for shipping. I can have tires removed to reduce shipping weight.
EDIT: Seems like mine are the 911 size, not the boxster size.
