Carbon Hood - 986 Boxster
 

VIS Racing Sports Carbon Fiber Hood for 986 Boxster.

$1600 new, I would like to get $500 plus shipping.

I bought this hood with the intention of sanding down and re-clear coating it but I'm worried I won't get it done this summer. This hood is not perfect, but with a little TLC will look amazing.

1. What does the hood weigh?
2. Does it utulize the stock latch and hinges?
3. Any damage, scratches etc in the clear coat? Painted black right?

Funny, but so far off the radar I rarely get spammed...

I haven't weighed it, but can easily pick up so I'm guessing around 40 pounds.

It uses the stock hinge and latch locations, not hood pins

It does have scratches and other blemishes, that is why I was going to sand it down and re-clear coat it. It is NOT black, it is clear coated carbon fiber

I'm in Fort Collins, CO, so not sure how much shipping would be.
