2000 Boxster S CDR-220 Stereo & Equalizer

Porsche CDR-220 Stereo and Equalizer in perfect working order.

I added a GT3 console delete kit to add some leg room and decided to pull the stereo. Worked perfectly before I pulled it out of the dash. My 2000 Boxster S has approximately 65,000 miles and appears to be well kept in the years before I bought her.

Please contact me at clay.benson@prodigy.net to discuss

Went to sell and realized I have neither the code nor the unit serial number. I am working on getting that info. First dealer today quoted me $90 to help "recover" the code. Will keep you all posted and sorry for the hassle.

Clay, thanks for your kind refund and resetting the deal after realizing the issue.

Was that a Porsche dealership? You might want to try SW Stereo in NJ, specializing in Becker and Blaunpunkt. Stefan is a great guy.

By the way, any chance that the serial # label got peeled off and still sitting somewhere behind the dash, above your GT3 console??? Hard to believe that the label can get completely gone...

If I remember correctly if you can power the unit up there is a key sequence that will display the sn on the digital screen. Might be instructions in the radio code thread.
