WTB: Front and Rear base Caliper rebuid kit
 

Hello all

Does anyone know of a vendor who sells the complete kits? I have been searching but it seems everywhere I go I need to piece it together.

Centric has the kits, do you need pistons or just the seals and the dust boots?

They actually have the pistons as well if you need.

Search at Rock Auto dot com to see what they have. There used to be a Centric search website but it seems to require a sign-in now.

Centric is owned by Stop Tech (or the other way around) and I have heard good things. 1-2 spec boxster folks have reported that the 36mm front seal was too tight but others have reported no problems. I think Rassta on this board has recently installed that kit. I think the seals/boots are the same for base and S.

I have the seals and dust boots kit but haven't put them on yet, but it is coming as my dust boots on the front are pretty rough, I think the higher heat from the Carbotechs/Nitto combination has worn them out and they are cracking.

RacingBrake sells rebuild kits as well, with or without pistons, and can include a high temp silicon dust boot, with the caveat that it will break down if brake fluid gets on it.

I think PMB may also sell hi temp dust boots as well as "Regular" dust boots
