I installed the 997 factory SSK last year and it was a FANTASTIC upgrade to a key control surface.

They work great, plug and play
Easy DIY

Is this a new unused one?, Otherwise it seems a bit pricey.
If its new or barely used, maybe

I think you are thinking of the standard 997 shifter with part number 997-424-010-00. This is the factory short shifter with part number 997-424-983-00. This came on 997s with option code XCZ. There is a fairly large price difference between the two.

It is used and has around 15k-20k miles on it. I took $120 off the cheapest price I could find online for the OEM 997 short shifter. If you find the short shifter cheaper somewhere, let me know and I'll adjust my price. Thanks

I hope it's appropriate to post this as a reply to this older thread, as surely some others have, and will find this thread when searching, same as I have.

Would y'all please comment on this short shifter, as found on Amazon:

At $80, it's turned my eye. Anyone have any first hand experience?

It's a good short shifter that a lot of people use and love. They can be had for $30-$40 on eBay, though.

Scratch that...cheapest I could find were $40-$50. It's been about six months since I last looked.

I bought one of the cheap 45 dollar ones off ebay. Pin and bushing fit was very poor I remade the pin and bushing for a precise fit . I would imagine all the cheap ones will have a poor fit so unless you are capable of reworking it stay away from the cheap ones.
