WTB - 986 Cam holder/alignment tools
 

If anyone wants to sell me their cam holder/alignment tools, let me know!

It looks like I can get a decent set online starting at $250.

If you have a set that you're not using and would like to sell for less than that give me a shout. Thanks!

So far I've had no luck locating one to borrow in my area.

What job are you performing?

I'm replacing the variocam chain pads.

No reply yet, so I'll probably just get the tools, I saw a decent looking set on Ebay for $216.

I did this and it worked perfectly. I also made the tools that hold the cams in place while you are putting them back in. Made those out of wood. Easy.

Does anybody offer templates?

I finally found a new set of tools that looks decent online for $100 plus shipping. I'm going to do that, it will save time vs. making a set. And it includes all 3 tools. (alignment tool, and the holder tools, plus some others).
