WTB Catalytic converters for 99
I am looking for a pair of cats for 99 boxster. I failed smog and need to pass, so I need some with reasonable mileage.
If anyone has a clue as to cause, I am interested. Car is well maintained, no oil burning, oil separator changed before failure... no alarms, runs good. Engine data on duremetric looks good fuel trims are as expected,,, also used snapon fancy dancy scanner and other diagnostic tools etc... the post cat o2 sensor sure enough shows not much cat effeciency. I do not know why it isn't alarming as like most porsche's it picks everything else up. But when we put it on smog sniffer HC and NOX are off the charts. hc 150+ NOX 800+ thanks robert |
I have pair of cats from 2001 with 105k
Pm if you are interested |
I may have a pair. If I do they have about 30k miles on them. Let me look in a few

I have a set - just took these pics yesterday. You would need a muffler shop to install them, but it shouldn't be a problem. Located in Maryland.

I am trying to find them with down pipes attached. Calif shop can't legally install used cats.
thanks robert |
I looked at mine. Mine are shot. sorry

pretty sure I have a good set from a 99 left over from my spec boxster build. 50k on them when I pulled them. I'll check in the AM. How does $200 plus shipping sound for the pair complete with downpipes?
