WTB 986 Driver side windshield wiper

I am searching for two (yes two) driver side windshield wiper blade holders. Specifically the one with the integrated wing. I found an internet picture of one although it is small.

What you want are Bosch Twin 582S.

That will include the driver side wiper you want (with the integrated wing) as well as passenger side blade that has a curve that follows the base of the windscreen.

Not sure you can get the driver side separately.

I also see the Porsche part number for the set on my receipt as: 996 628 901 08.

Ok, I just checked the PET to verify that part number and it doesn't show them sold separately, only as a set.

Here's the best price I could find on ebay:

2-pcs Front Wiper Blade 22" Bosch 996 628 901 08 Porsche 996 997 986 987 911 | eBay

Be careful - you want genuine Bosch blades because aftermarket/compatible blades will be missing the wing on the driver side and the passenger side will be straight (not curved).

Look for the Bosch blades on Amazon. Just bought a set a couple of weeks ago for less and $30.

One thing funny about the Bosch blade set they ar selling nowadays, is that the rubber inserts are different styles left vs. right. One is the style with steel reinforceing wire slipped inside the rubber, whereas the other is the style with two small steel reinforcing wires in grooves on each side of the rubber. Very strange Bosch wouldn't make them match! I really doubt the original Boxster blades would be mismatched like that.

Any comments from anyone who has the actual original 986 wiper blades on what they actually looked like when the car was sold?
