I upgraded to a 74 mm TB and IPD plenum, so I have these for sale (2002 Boxster S):

Stock

* Throttle Body (68 mm) $140
* Air duct $20
* Plenum $30

They all are in good shape and were functioning perfectly when pulled.
Shipping extra.

So, how did the upgrade go? Was it time consuming? difficult/easy? any error codes? how much HP did you increase (if any)? cost? sources?

I did the upgrade last summer, so it's been a while.
I had a race tune by Vivid Racing (local to me) flashed on my ECU before the plenum and TB, and so the flash alone provided a definite lower end torque (flatten torque curve). Then with the plenum and TB, it was another bump on the torque/power curves. I also have an underdrive pulley and cat bypass mid pipes along with a Borla exhaust. The tune also will give you a slight HP bump when using race fuel (100 octane unleaded). I haven't dynoed it yet and will this summer, but I would guestimate my peak wheel power to be 250 HP (crank maybe 290). It feels great on the track having the extra power. You never have too much of that!

IPD plenum and TB is an easy job and took me about 90 minutes. I did have an issue with rough idle after, but found that I had a cracked tube, so after I replaced it, no issues at all. I think the plenum is about $750 and you can get the TB for about $200. Shop around as I found best price for IPD Plenum was ECS Tuning, but it can vary. Same for throttle body. Stock ECU tune should see the added air and you should get more power, but the race tune will help more. You have to do an adaptation reset for the TB, so just remember to do that.
