Used 986 rear trailing arms

Replaced trailing arms from my 2004 986 (75k miles) due to infamous rear end clunking noise from worn joint. Inspected upon removal and only a small amount of play <1mm vertical. Anyone have any use for these for a small fee? $30 each plus shipping?

Any interest at all in these? OBO

I've got some old ones too, I've always wondered if Vertex would buy them for their EPS urethane bushing models.

So if it wasn't the trailing arms, what was it that caused the clunks?

I just tossed two sets of these when I finally gave up and replaced mine with new. I tried to repack mine and tighten up the joint but it still rattled.
New TRW arms installed and all is quiet!

Sorry for late response but the trailing arms in the rear and lower control arms in the front were the cause of my rattles. Replacement of these parts as they wore and caused rattling instantly solved the issue. My 986s had around 76-77k miles during the time both were replaced only about 1k miles apart. Replaced rears with TRW and fronts with EPS. Drop links, sway bar bushings, ball joints, control arms (coffin), etc. all still original.

I’ll pay shipping if you just want to get rid of them. I’m doing mono ball bearing in other location and am wondering how big a bearing I can stuff in the stock arm. Would be cool to have worm parts to mess with...

PM if interested
