WTB or Rent: Durametric cable
 

I have an airbag light that I would like to disable on my 986 Boxster S and i'd also like to check the camshaft deviation. I've borrowed specialty tools like an SIR wheel bearing tool from other members and enjoyed the experience so please let me know if you have a Durametric I can rent or purchase from you. Someone on this forum mentioned that Durametric occasionally has refurbished cables for a discount. I think you may have to call them.
I wish I had known, I paid full price, but have no regrets, it can be a very useful tool. :cheers:

Something to be aware of and my apologies in advance to Pelican Parts. I bought mine from Pelican and Durametric is helpful no matter what BUT as close as I was to wanting to send mine back, Durametric would have refunded where Pelican may have been a little more difficult.

On Ebay there is a Durametric for rent. $100 for 10 days and is a Pro version.

Thanks for all the replies. I ended up buying a cable from Durametric. It was able to diagnose and disable the airbag light. Very handy tool for the Boxster.
