WTB 8-way seat switch drivers side
 

I broke the power seat switch on 'my 1998 base w 8 way seats on the left/drivers side the part number is 996 613 719 00 My first stop was Woody but sadly he doesn't have one. Anyone have a working one they want to sell? Thanks

Here's a photo of the 8-way switch I'm looking for. The seat is black and the switch is dark grey.

A little DIY fixes the switch.
 

I decided to disassemble the switch mechanism and found that the plastic handles just needed to be realigned with the micro switches inside. Voila! It now works. Case closed.
