WTB IMS Center Bolt Dual Row

I had the misfortune of breaking the IMS center bolt on my 2000 Boxster. It's one with a dual row bearing. Does anyone have a used one I can buy? I would greatly appreciate it as I can't buy a new one without purchasing a whole new kit for $$$http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1468296318.jpg

Both the center bolt and the bearing are typically irreparably damaged during extraction process and should never be reused.

I have two you can choose from. Both with about 125,000 miles from 01 models. One with a used O-ring and one without. The only guarantee is that you shouldn't use them in a car (Trust JFP). Pick either at $20 shipped in a padded envelope USPS.

For about $165 more you can buy this complete kit:
Pelican M96 Intermediate Shaft Bearing PELIMS1 - PEL-IMS-1 | Pelican Parts
and not risk your engine.

Yeah, I would definitely buy the Pelican kit if it were available. It's been out of stock for weeks with no word on when it will be in stock... just 3 or more weeks... :( I'll send you a message. Thanks!

It's done. Tracking info sent.
Disclaimer: We never met, I was never here, and I don't sell used bolts.

IMS bearing bolt fix

As a work around for the broken bolt.
in the photo of the broken bolt , where the zero end of the ruler is, cut through the bolt face it off on a lathe drill a hole right through the centre of the stepped remaining flange. buy a suitable hi tensile ( allen) bolt, push it through the drilled hole to replace the previous cut off bolt (same dia). tack weld the new bolt head to the flange for security (this is the end which goes inside the hollow IMS .) use sealer to replace O ring. result much stronger fool proof assy.
PS Double bearing NSK W5204 20x47x23.8 if you can find one.
otherwise .. NSK 5204 20x47x20.6 (readily available) add 3mm spacer (plain washer)
Remove bearing seals to allow oil to enter.
