Porsche 986 987 Boxster Cayman Spec Stage 3 Clutch kit
 

Up for sale is a spec stage 3 clutch for 986 Boxsters. May also fit 987 Boxsters and caymans. This clutch was used on my race car for one season. I believe it is part number Part #: SPC-SP893


SPEC Stage 3 Clutch Kits feature a carbon semi-metallic 6 puck sprung hub disc that has been the leading puck clutch in drivability, life and torque capacity. This unit is designed for street and race cars that require an aggressive but streetable engagement and high torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability.

boxster or s? what years?

In the beginning of last season my car had a 2001 2.7 motor and tranny. I then switched it to a 1999 2.5 engine and ultimately a 2.5 tranny as well(running spec boxster this year). With that being said, I know it will fit all regular boxsters from 1997-2004 with no issues. It may also work on Boxster S and 987 models from what I've seen, but I am not positive.
