Older wheels: scrap or sell?

I got a set of 986.2 wheels for my car and have had a set of original Twist wheels, first taking up room in the garage and now taking up room in the storage shed. They have the usual road rash, and one looks like it was repainted by the previous owner. I want to clear them out of the shed, so I wonder whether they have any sale value or if I should just sell them as scrap aluminum.

Anyone have any opinions about that? What are they worth, if anything, to Porsche owners?

Unless that are bent or cracked, they have some value as usable wheels and very little as scrap
What size are they?
Someone will want a set of track or winter wheels.

If the rears are straight and not cracked, as long as they are 17x8.5s, depending on asking price I'd be very interested.

As long as they're in good condition and not bent or cracked they're worth a minimum of $500 for a complete set. I could sell 17x8.5's all day if I had them.
