WTB: Glovebox handle assembly

I'm looking for a silver glovebox handle assembly like the one in my pic without the key tumbler. It needs to be unbroken too. This is for the glovebox on a 2003 Boxster S.

Anyone have an interior they've ripped out and perhaps has an extra? Please PM me!

Thanks!

rob

Heard it is impossible to remove tumbler w/o breaking tabs. I promptly verified too when I replaced mine w/ a CF pull to match the vent, dash, and center console of my interior. Just another Porsche 'wear item' :D  :D

Good luck :)

Thanks, yes I broke the tabs on mine taking the tumbler out. What are my options then? Get a new one?

Unfortunately, pretty much or used w/ someone else's tumbler still in b/c... well you know why.

Generally speaking they run ~ $50 US or what $372.87 CAN ;)

Here is the p/n 997.552.362.01.(plus your interior color code)

A South Florida Dealer Source ;)

Thanks for the tips and the links. The latch you linked is for a 2005+ 987 but I found the 986 latch at the same site for about $68. Considering everything on this car costs a fortune from the dealer, $68US doesn't seem so bad. Thanks again.
