I've got this one installed in my 2000 S black interior and it matches perfectly:

Thanks for the ECS link, Steve! $33 is MUCH more reasonable!

ECS has lots of other colors, all much more expensive, and then this one color that is way cheaper. This one piece is actually how I found ECS Tuning, from an ad, and since then I have bought a lot of stuff through them.

I guess I'm lucky to have the early interior. :)
I just ordered one...$41.85 with the cheapest shipping, which is still a bargain.

Thanks again for the link, Steve!
I've wanted one of these for years, but was waiting for a reasonable price tag.

It is awesome and so very useful, much better than a floppy ashtray that doesn't stay shut unless you fiddle with it just right and then never touch it again. I put my QStarz GPS in it when I'm on the track, and the rest of the time my little bottle of sanitizer :)

You can always call Sunset Imports in Oregon and ask for the Porsche parts counter and they'll quote you a 10% over hard cost price. You just must be out of state to get these discounts.

This is where I purchase all my new Porsche parts. Best prices around.

They are online now, it looks like they may have it for $21? Dang!!! (Note the part number isn't a 100% match as there are a few trailing characters that don't seem to be there)

CONSOLE SHELF | Genuine Porsche | 996-552-096-00-B12

I have got to get used to checking there - I bought a Pierburg water pump and for only a few $ more I could have had the Porsche branded one (since then the price went up but they are still very competitive)

There's also a little rubber mat that goes inside the console shelf that hides the screws.
