here is what i know about the engine and car from which it came.
2001 S tip, 120k miles. sat for nearly a year in the hot sacramento sun. the car fired up and ran fine, albeit with a fair amount of smoke. looked like classic AOS, which was later confirmed. but we're talking major AOS failure meaning looked like the car was run for quite some time with it being blown. theres oil residue and gunk like everywhere, in the intake, inside the cam cover i can tell theres a bunch of thick gunked up oil. and in the crankcase too, peeking from inside the oil filler hole, lots of gunked up oil, thick... gooey mess.
doesnt look like any valves are bent, though 1-6 had massive leakdown. i didnt even bother to test other cylinders after that.
oil came out fine, without any signs of intermix so thats good. there appeared to be no signs of mix from any of the hoses on the car or the reservoir either.
so what were looking at is a running 3.2 that probably needs to be really rebuilt... but most likely two good heads and good case and good crankshaft. engine started and turns over by hand fine. timing marks are inline.
