How did you remove it? (I realize your post is ancient, but it's the only hit for the search "manual tray.") The screw heads on mine have nothing to put a screwdriver into. They're more like plastic rivets.

They are 'plastic rivets'. They can be removed with a door panel remover, even a putty knife, etc etc.

Thanks! With this encouragement, I found that steady force with my bare hands was enough to remove the tray and "rivets" intact, with no scuffs or damage to anything.
