LN IMS Bearing

We all know and worry about the Boxster's weak point and know there is only one true solution. I have a brand new LN single row IMS bearing kit. The plastic bags have never been opened.

I bought the bearing for the engine I was replacing in my Boxster. I ended up buying and replacing the engine with a 2006 engine and didn't want to split the case to install. As a result I still have this brand new bearing.

Pelican is asking $650 plus shipping.

I am asking $450 USD shipped anywhere in the US and Canada.

Please feel free to contact me a b-raddetail@outlook.com for the fastest response.

I think the slow response is a combination of 2 factors. One, LNE now has a dual row bearing that fits into the single row engine, so your single row bearing, though still good, is less desirable than it was. Which takes me to the second factor, price. You mentined a lower price, but didn't specify what the new low price is.

I'm going to give you a number, which is NOT a low ball number - because it is based on actual sales - even though I know that because I'm the first to tell you what it's current value is, that you are going to immediately reject my number. I've purchased 2 such bearings, in the past two months from sellers with similar circumstances, for $325 plus shipping to Decatur, IL USA 62526.

Combined with the older technology, in part that number is lower than you expected because the buyer can't be sure that the manufacturer will provide support/warranty since we were not the orginal purchaser.

If you decide to take me up on my bid, send me a PM. I pay via Paypal upon presentation of a Paypal invoice/money request with item description included for business records.

Thanks, Joe

Yes, this is true. Sales of the Classic Single Row Retrofit have plummeted, and the Single Row Pro have quadrupled.

Hi Joe, sorry for the late reply I do not frequent the forums often. I have been away from the 986 world for a while I did not realize there was a new version. I did post my reduced price, it was edited in the the original post. My local Indy has expressed interest in the bearing. Thanks for informing me on current market pricing. I may need to further lower my asking price or discuss with you.

Thanks, Brad

Jake Raby
have seen your name in the forums.
Appears LN no longer lists single row bearing on website..
Disappointing since I just bought the 350 buck kit!
Are you aware of anyone selling your bearing design?
Many thanks
Wikan
