Pardon my ignorance, but what is the 3Rd part, other than the meshes, used for? Thanks.

PorscheFan5 - the center wind deflector clips into the space between the headrest bumps in the roll-bar. Together with the meshes, it helps cut aerodynamic turbulence in the cockpit with the top down. (damn, that sounded so NASA-ese). :)
