SOLD -- Fabspeed '00-04 986 Maxflo Exhaust

SOLD -- Fabspeed Maxflow Exhaust for '00 to '04 986.

System is in excellent condition as shown in the photos. Was on my '01 986S in Arizona weather for about a year and less than 5K miles. Sounds great but the spouse wasn't as impressed. In the spirit of marital harmony I put the stock exhaust back on the car.

The system is currently $2295 new (Porsche 986 Boxster Maxflo Performance Exhaust System - Fabspeed Motorsport). This is a very solid, high quality system that Fabspeed is known for. Listing this one at $1500 plus shipping. If you're in the Phoenix area we can arrange for local pickup and avoid shipping costs.

Thanks for looking.

Will this be ok for the California smog cert?

sginaz 01-12-2015 04:21 PM

This system removes two of the four cats that are present in the factory setup. The factory cats at the header remain and the secondary cats are removed. I'm in AZ and passed smog without any problem and never had a check engine light.

I don't have any experience with smogging the system in CA.

Below is a photo that shows the differences between OEM and Fabspeed.

Great looking exhaust system. GLWS.

For California they like to do visual checks especially when you have a load and shiny exhaust. I know from experience. In AZ they plug in they OBD, check your gas cap and thane your $20. Took 20 minutes and nobody cared that the secondary's are gone.

I know exactly what OP means by "marital harmony" I have had the same exhaust on for about a year and the wife can't stand it. We have other cars so it's not a big deal but she just doesn't get to enjoy the box. I love the exhaust and would recommend.

Hi. I don't have video on my car but the product page on the Fabspeed site linked above has several videos you can check out. Let me know if I can provide any more info.

Thanks!
