FS: Used Porsche 986 FabSpeed Sport Headers/Sport Cats

I have a set of FabSpeed Sport Headers and Sport Cats for sale (As-Is) for $1400, only been on the car from end of 2007 to mid 2009; I believe for about 8000 miles.

They're for my 2004 Boxster, great condition; the set still sells for $2300 elsewhere.

I'd prefer not to have to ship them as they are heavy, shipping & Insurance could be costly; I'm in NJ, right outside NYC.

Was the rest of your exhaust system stock? I ask because I want to know if this bolts onto the factory PSE rear pieces or if putting these headers on means everything rearward must also change.

Go ahead.....say it: NOOB. But I would love a little more sparkle when I stick my foot into it -- without adding so much that I end up hating it on a 45 minute drive. Maybe what you have is the answer, or maybe I should go with a Cernewal approach at the rear end.

I believe this fits using the same dimensions as the stock "header" with integrated cat, with the exception if you have a tiptronic you have to slightly reroute one of the cooling lines.

If you want a little more sparkle, do you have secondary cat bypass pipes installed? They give exactly that. I do not have the item for sale in this add installed, but I do have the 2nd cat bypass pipes installed and I love it :)

Hi, there's a Schnell exhaust on the car; sorry, I'm not sure if it would work with a stock exhaust, the previous owner had the performance parts installed. I would give Fabspeed a call, they're pretty helpful and are willing to assist with their products; here's their number - 1.888.646.4945

FabSpeed Sport Headers and Sport Cats Still Available for Sale------

Carlisabadman986 06-12-2015 04:33 AM

I would love to take these off your hands it's a really good deal. Especially considering since your original post the cost has gone up from $2300 to $2900

Porsche 986 Boxster Sport Headers - Fabspeed Motorsport

Even if it isn't the best bang for buck mod (Fabspeed website says it add's 8 WHP) I am sure this plus my top speed delete pipes and muffler would create an unbelievable sound.

Sigh GLWS

Unless you wanna give em up for $500 bucks!! I'll be there Tomorrow!

bulldoggie68 06-12-2015 04:46 AM

Thanks for your reply, but I can't let them go for $500.

Oh sorry, too early for my brain to work right......so you are interested in them? Problem is that they're too heavy to ship.

Fabspeed now sells these for $2895. This is a great deal. If you were on the left coast I would buy them in a heartbeat. I am surprised that they haven't sold. Hang tough and GLWS.

Thanks for the heads up Chuck, got some inquiries but they just don't follow through....I'm also selling the car so I'll sell the headers along with it as well. Also selling my 2009 cayenne S with performance upgrades too.
